....Is Gnarl's Barkley's "Crazy".

They said that it was the song that everyone could love....blah blah blah. Number 2 was some Jay-Z song, number 3 was Outkast's "Hey Ya." There was a whole top 50.

There was an entire top 50 for albums too, and number 1 in that was Radiohead's Kid A.

Anyone agree with this?

Rolling Stones song of the decade is more like "most popular, overrated song of the decade"

The albums were top 100.

I don't agree with Rolling Stone magazine in any way shape or form.

Viva La Vida by Coldplay definitely should have gotten in top three for song of the decade.

It deserved it much more than those top three.

Am I the only one that is rather upset about Single Ladies being at #50? I mean, Beyonce did have the best music video of all time.

Wow, that was a disappointing list. The first semi-good song is #26 - Coldplay - Clocks, then we have Modest Mouse - Float On at #39. After that we have to wait until #65 when Green Day - Boulevard of Broken Dreams comes along (that song should have been much higher. I'm not a huge Green Day fan, but Boulevard of Broken Dreams is still occasionally played on my radio stations.)

I'm wondering how objective this list was, and how many people had input. They've completely ignored the rock, metal, punk, etc genre. Rolling Stone magazine is supposed to be a rock magazine, not a cash grab aimed at kids who think Lady Gaga is quality music <.<

Lolol.

Feh, Crazy's not bad... but really? Agreeing with everyone else, Viva la Vida should have been very high on that list... both on the albums and song list. And Clocks should have been even higher.

I do kind of like that the Gorillaz were on there twice, once for Clint Eastwood, another time for Feel Good Inc.

The list is lacking in it's supply of 3 Doors Down, though...

Finally someone who agrees with me...

you gotta like crazy though come on dud that song is legendary
I just think that song is rather stupid. Although that is my personal opinion.

Yes, they may not be that great of genres, but you have to listen to them in order to have a good knowledge and make lists such as this.
I actually listen to those genres a lot. They are the most popular genres around here. I just never really got into them. Sure rap and pop have good beats, but I like something with deeper lyrics and guitars. I'm in no way saying that these genres are lacking the previous.

To ignore those genres is ignorant.
Well, I simply don't like them. I ignore those genres because I don't like them. Does that make me ignorant? I honestly don't think so.

But then again we are all entitled to our own opinions. You probably wouldn't like half the songs I like.

Also, why is there no Foo Fighters or Pearl Jam on these lists? They have been the two of the five best artists of this decade in my opinion, and they're rock legends.
They seem to neglect both of those bands in a lot of things.
