When the United states was founded it was founded with freedom of religion, but what i dont understand is why in modern times is religion so important. Even on this site religion seems to make the top 3-5 topics on the World Events, Politics, Religion, Etc. Forum. Why why is this such a debate in the modern times? And why dint this stop in 1782 when the country was officially founded? I want your answers!
I would have to disagree. There are stupid people everywhere, and there are religious people everywhere too. Sure it may be a Wiccan who holds a seance in the locker room but someone there is not atheist.
