Wow. What a great book series! One of the best! And then.... they make a crappy movie out of it! AGAIN!!!!! WHAT THE HECK?!?!?! I thought it would be impossible to ruin this saga! And now, I list the faults.... 1: Annabeth should be a blonde. She's supposed to have grey eyes. And she's supposed to want to brutally murder Percy in his house. Well he's sleeping. And NOT make out with him. 2: Grover is, as a fact, NOT African American. He also has red curly hair, and he either wears a hat, or has horns sticking out of his head- because he's half goat, thank u very much. 3: All the characters are 50 years too old. 4: Mr. Brunnor (Chiron) is supposed to be, like, 40. Not, like, 9,000,000,000. 5: Percy cannot make humongous waves in the first book! He CAN make toilets explode. LOL/ROFLCOPTER. 6: He doesn't get the pwnage arm shield until book 2. Not 1. 2. Just a recap: BOOK TWO!!!!! 7: He is not supposed to be popular- or buff! He is supposed to be an awkward noob. 8: Mrs. Dodds is a fury - NOT a flying demon with wings that looks like it belongs in the movie Avatar- which was awesome. 9: Giant Tiger from 2nd book- NOT FIRST! 10: He cannot possibly look Medusa in the eye- or he'd die, thereby ending his acting life (YAAAAY!). 11: Riptide/Accumulous is NOT silver - it is celestial bronze. U know, so it can actually HIT the demons? 12: Thalia isn't in the first book, either - and neither is a stinkin' flyin' boat, NOOBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 13: Percy? DOESN'T go swimming for fun! 14: BTW: We haven't seen the movie, since it isn't out yet. We're basing this on the 3 ads that me and my possy have seen!!!!!
P.S. OMG THIS MOVIE IS GONNA SUCK AND IS GONNA BE EVEN WORSE THEN WHAT THEY PASS OFF FOR TEH HARRY POTTER MOVIES!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARG!!

How can you say all that stuff when the movie doesn't come out for like, two months? I predict the movie is going to suck too, but really? This? I mean..gar. *rolls eyes* You can't say the movie sucks based solely on the trailer. Duh. You forgot to put the "/rant" at the end of your post.
the movie might not be that bad but i think it will be. Really bad casting. Why couldnt they cast it like harry potter which had the characters look like what i thoguht they would.

me and my friend are huge fans of teh book and when they came out with the new trailer we where both pretty disapointed. htye did a horrible casting job, ok logan lerman is pretty good but still annabethe is supposed to be BLONDE and in the book it specifacally says grover is supposed to have curly hair and is caucaisan.
I love the books awesome series. If all the ads are that wrong though then how wrong will the movie be.? Most Likely Answer: Extremely wrong. I'm gonna be mad if they ruin the whole movie.
Sorry for double post.More falts from a trailer. Olympus isn't supposed to look scary. It was never described as that. I's like a hotel key card they use to get to Olympus that you slide into a slot on the elevator. No just some key. The doorman just doesn't give him the key like in the trailer. it actully takes some persasion to get a 12 year old ( I think maybe 13, been a while since i read it.) into the home of the gods.
