Admittedly, since I have not been earning much money this year (excuse me, I'm only a kid ^^) I have not really been able to get some of the awesome games of which have been released this year, and have had to rely on seeing my dad to find out about the latest games.
Fallout 3 impressed me, but since that's 2008 I can't really vote it. What I've heard of CoD 6's generally short campaign is, to say the least, disappointing. I would have to vote Dragon Age: Origins, a very fun game indeed.
Mw2 or l4d 2 both great games, good graphics and above average online
Above average online? Excuse my ignorance, but all you're doing is connecting to a server and playing a map, correct? The only way you can be judging that is by the community, which is surely no way to review the game itself.
I'm a devote Infinity Ward fan, but, MW2 just blew. I mean I play it all the time, I'm a 3rd prestige. But, Call of Duty 4 is so much better.
MW2 is a glitchy version of CoD4. You might 'say' it's an update, because of the new weapons, the perk pro system, new maps, etc. But, the fact that almost 1/4th of the games I end up in is glitch servers and the fact that half the time your mic's never pop up, you lose people nearly every time you search, just kills it for me. NONE of that happened on CoD4.
Personally, the only thing better about MW2 than CoD4 is the graphics.
I LOVED MW2 and L4D2 along with Assassins 2, but my vote goes for Batman : Arkham Asylum. It was extremely unique, had EXCELLENT voice actors (from the TV show I grew up on) with all sorts of gadgets, fun fights, and the actually feeling of being Batman. Plus, those riddles were really fun.
