Ok, so i was messing with my phone and I went onto the news and read a brief paragrah about a Morman church in Salt Lake-City that, as of today, supports gay rights. This was a shock to me because from what i have heard Morman's don't support gay rights, or marriage, in any way. Please post a comment telling me what you think of this ordeal.
Thank You

Homosexuality was something that was considered a mental disability in the past, it is wrong, man and woman are made to create, it is frowned upon by most cultures, I believe it is wrong, and I think it is a hormonal disorder, I think that it is not something that should be taught in school for anything to do with Sex Ed, but yet, I am one, not many.

Well weeven even it I was not aiming to be all that serious with that post, the whole ancient declaration from the Papacy which still stands saying you burn in hell if you don't submit to Papal authority would piss a lot of them off if they ever bothered to learn about it.

If everyone is a Child of God, then what is all of this?

1st Thessalonians 5
4But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
5Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
6Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
7For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.

Ephesians 5
1Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
2And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
3But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
4Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
5For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
6Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
7Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
8For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
9(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth
10Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
11And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

We were born of god, our spirits are his children, we are all his children

Were do you get this stuff biblically? Were were made in the image of God but that does not make all of us God's children. There are many verses to the contrary. As you will read, the Jews tried to say a similar thing to Christ in the book of John, that they were all children of Abraham.

Matthew 13:
36Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
37He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
38The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
39The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
40As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
41The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
42And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
43Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

John 8:
37I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.
38I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.
39They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.
40But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.
41Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.
42Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
43Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
44Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
45And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
46Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?
47He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

Here, this is from the Bible.

Matt. 5: 9, 44-45
9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Ahh that's the beauty of free choice. Go ahead and think what you want. I know, and the other Mormons know why we feel this is the true church. We're not going to try and convert you over the internet. You'll have to find out for yourself, like we had to.

I didn't say that to the Mormons, I said that to Balerion who quotes the bible for all of his believes. It meant that there are many books written by many both primitive and modern people, and that they all say different things.

Its actually Mormons and yeah. Gay rights should be supported throughout the world, but they still aren't. The ways in which gays are treated is different, in earlier history gay were lynched and murdered for their opinion. Today homosexuality is supported among many people, but not the general public. Its a huge step for the Mormon congregation to support homosexuality, maybe now the catholic society will too. I doubt it though, seriously.

Well... I didn't read the whole article before I commented, everything I said is true, except I thought the mormon association supported gay rights, if they don't then their just like the catholic society, some pricks who think their opinion is the best and try to forrce it on others.
