Hi.

I can't play multiplayer, because my dad said no, so I want to know any good SINGLE-Player games for the PS3. Games I'm considering renting/buying are inFamous, Skate 2, and MGS4. I'm definitly going to get inFamous, but I'm hesitating about MGS4 and Skate2. Game genres I like are Action-Adventure and shooters, but I can try new types of games if they're really good.

Thanks.

Assassins Creed 2 all the way. 10+ hours of gameplay. 25+ if you do side quests.

Why did your dad say you can't play multiplayer lol?

and I suggest you look around for good action/adventure or platform games.

skate two offline doesnt last that long... online it does =] but offline... idk... i have no clue how long you can play it but after you beat the game... its still a great game though =] dude, get ur dad to hook you up, psn is free, if you have a computer all you need is a router and a cord to hook it up with. (i think, thats how ps2's worked, my aunt and my uncle got my ps3s connected)

Here is an argument to get psn:

tell him how much longer psn extends the gametime, it costs 50 bucks for a game, if its psn and you have psn, it can make you play 10X 40X even infinityX longer! really dude, it does :O

I was gonna bring that up to him when he's in a good, generous mood. He may change his mind.

I was thinking of renting it first. I'm really into Free-Roams, and Assassin's Creed 2 sounds fun. Thing is, it's rated M and I have younger siblings (7-) ._. Odd enough, T-Rated games are allowed.

You know.. strangely enough, my friend, who's 14, said Ghostbusters was a good game. I question his age further.

I have a strong addiction to multiplayer/online. He thinks i won't do homework and stuff like that. >_>

PS3s can also do Wireless (mine does). I asked for the encryption code or w/e, and he said "No."

Oh, and I need help in persuading/negotiating my dad to give me online xDD. I'm not a good negotiator.

You should rent Uncharted 2 and 1 if you want. Those are really good games. The God of War games are good too. Prototype is another. I'll try to give you some more later.

I forgot to mention, I got Uncharted 1 and 2 when I got the PS3 .

I'm gonna try to get God of War III when it comes out. I've already beaten Prototype on my friend's X-Box, so I don't think I need to play it again :s. Thansk though!

Do not I reapeat do not rent or buy Avatar: The Game. I heard it was horrible and pretty much pointless and stupid.

Anything with at least a 80+ metascore. Avatar is a terrible game so don't bother. I would go with Dragon Age or Assassins creed.

Don't worry, I wasn't. I was just surprised they made a game for it.

Dragon Age:Origins is a good RPG, as long as you play it in Normal or Hard

I'll give it a try. I heard it's really time consuming.

Dragonage: Origins, Mass Effect (which is the futuristic side of Dragonage, also made by the same software), and Borderlands. Three good games, all RPGs... huh, imagine that XD
