For those who don't know AI = artificial intelligence, basically a machine that reacts as the human brain does. This means that it has to be able to learn and adapt to change. What I want to know is what AG thinks of it? Anyone automatically thinking of the Terminator and The Matrix?

for god sake. if you use a other binary code for the letter a then ALL the computers use. then ALL the computers wont understand it.
just like when you change a dot in braille.

those things are fixed and are not random.

this is my truely last post about the subject. i don't care anymore if you post 5 more times about it. i thought i was clear enoufg after the 1st time that i don't care about what you think because i know it's not like that.

Back to the original topic...
What is the point of giving guns to robots once it catches on the wars won't end. They will continue eternally because robots are built. Wars won't be won until one of the countries runs out of plastics and metals; by then they wouldn't have any people left anyways because the wars would just distroy the planet.
The whole 3 laws thing is flawed too, because if robots are coded to protect humans, then their either gonna crash or kill us all.

Now I was the one to miss the post :b
sorry about that.

I know, what i meant was, when they were developing the standard, it wouldn't have made a difference.

just like when you change a dot in braille.

Same as above.

those things are fixed and are not random.

They are fixed from creation, but if they were created with a different arrangement, and this arrangement was standard, then it wouldn't have made a difference.

So then you are using the strategy i described, i mean all my arguments that you ignored were clear enough too.

if you believe so, then be my guest.
but i think just because i'm still replying to you while i said 3 times i didn't (i know it's bad of me) shows i'm not ignoring (not caring either)

the 1st point made was that they are random.
my point is that they are not random at all.
random means thats they always are different. (wich they aint)

I know, what i meant was, when they were developing the standard, it wouldn't have made a difference.

that doesn't make it random.
it could be different yes. but it is not, it is always coded the same way.

Now I was the one to miss the post :b
sorry about that.

it's because of the not able to edit posts thingy =P

anyway can we stop it now and move on whit the topic?

No random doesn't mean that. When i say random, i mean the standard could have been anything, but it stays constant. Everything has to follow that constant standard, not make a new one for every computer. Sorry if that wasn't clear.

anyway can we stop it now and move on whit the topic?

It seems we've solved all misunderstandings, so yes.
