It's more of action or strategy because an adventure game to me is, you walk around, fight some enemies (depending on the type of game) or solve a puzzle.
I guess TECHNICALLY it might just possibly slip through a tiny loop-hole to be called an adventure game.
I'm just saying though, I see it more as an action game then adventure
It's an RPG. You can't deny that. You play a role, and it's a game. Adventure is meant for RPG's.
Also, it shouldn't be in action. It would fit in better in Strategy, Misc, or maybe even Puzzle & Skill, since it only has action when you play it on heroic, and even that is really strategical.
Adventure is defined as a game with a story or plot about a character(s) journey(ies). RPG is defined as role playing, which is characters with different roles in a story and how they play those roles in a story. Sonny just happens to fit those two like a puzzle piece. If the game didn't have a story, then it would be placed as Strategy for its complexity in various ways of playing the game.
It fits with strategy because you have to think your way through building your character to be sucessful. action not really because there is no real need to do anything quickly, eccept for heroic unless you know what you are doing. Adventure it fits for the storyline that is followed although there are some parts that seem to just be there as filler. RPGs are adventure games although this isn't as much about the travel aspect as much as the battle aspect and fighting through a story. I can see why it wouldn't fit in adventure as adventuring, but it does fit the broader aspect of the RPG gaming.
