No it wouldn't. It wouldn't cut through the bone and all weed whackers have either steel or aluminum wire and it gets stuck on rocks which are weaker than bone. Plus they are big and bulky and are hard to maneuver higher than a foot off of the ground. 3/10

Pretty good. Although you wouldn't do enough damage to completely stop them, it will slow them down. 6.5/10

Peerty good, the only problem you would run into is if it's a non-reliable motor(my past experiences with weed-wackers have told me this). If not, you'll be pretty good...
Just have to make sure your blades are sharp. If you had a backpack with a blade-sharpening machine, then you'd be golden.
