But still, a war whould not be an effective way. It whould be more likly nazi style mass murder of the flawed or lower class (legal menally deformed, deformed, prisnors ect)
Also in my opinion, total peace is impossible for humans, violence might as well be considered a dormant or dominant trait in all humans because no matter who you are at one point in your life you have gotten angry, over time we learn to control these urges at least some do. Second, while peace is good, wartime causes an increase in technological advances since every one throws them selves into looking for a WOMD or superior armor for vehicles and infantry, better aircraft everything is sought to be improved on. However war to kill of population makes no sense, because in wartime birthrates are increased therefore there is no change.
