Are the mods capable to just delete a thread?

And are they allowed to without telling the OP?

I found out why. My post could have been considered as advertising. I just meant for people to try a game, so I would know if it was worth submitting. But the questions still stand.

It was moved. It belonged in the Flash section where it now is.

To answer the question, of yes we can, and we will if the thread is too stupid to keep or is violating the rules.

Now go find your thread in the flash section.

If mods feel that the thread must be locked or deleted, then they will. They usually tell the thread creator why, so the mod should have told you. It's either that or there was no need to tell a person why their thread was deleted.

But yeah, as a general rule, you cannot make a thread advertising a game. That's why when people post site links, they are censored. The sites on the censor list anyways. You can have the link to the site on your profile though, such as Click this to go to a sweet site! on your about page. Nothing against the rules on that.
