i find it very annoying when on a game or in the community a person will put a one word post. in no way could a one word post make the site better. for example i was playing that new snowman game and all the comments were "good" and "loved it" and "wow." I dont get why people can't take time to really review a game.
1) As long as you don't do it yourself, don't worry. 2) Spam will be taken care of, don't worry. Thus 3) Spammers lose their points when mods go crazy.
/lock Okay, gonna make a little experiment here. Cleaned Snomageddon at this time, down to 2 pages of comments from the 11. Let's see how long it takes before I have to do it again.

I think that the site should have a word limit, like your post must be longer than 5 words and less than X number of words. That would cut down on spamming.
There was this other topic on that, there always is, but really, even with a word limit of 100, there will still be spammers who then just would c/p the words into the comments. And they would be harder to find. Especially with my style of deleting. I have before almost let a chain letter stay, because it looked like a good comment. Or a comment that was generally all swears. Or "I was ttly good at this and pwn them all and you all suck because I won!"...
"I was ttly good at this and pwn them all and you all suck because I won!" 17 words. And that one has no relation to the game, is not a review and without purpose. Thus spam. Just saying.
The good ol' google Armorgames search takes care of chain letters....tryin' to get some brainstorming juice flowing...
And honestly, (taken from another thread) what use is there for flagging if it only reaches admins? You would think that, since mods have the ability to delete too, that they should also be able to use the flagging system. I probably flagged half as many comments as Cen deleted them.
That would still be spam. Generally, it is not for stating you OPINION but for making a REVIEW so the creator knows what is right, what isn't and what can be changed for the better.
If I can ask "Why" to a comment, I usually delete it. Unless it is 7words or some long, then I am not really allowed. If you have nothing proper to say, don't say anything, because it can pretty much look like you are doing it for the AP. And that would be bad.
