So when I realized that Age of War 2 was on Maxgames, I decided to go take a little peek at it. I played through through the whole game on easy just to get a quick overview of the new game. As I was playing through it, I started to wonder if I was still playing the first Age of War.
Quite honestly, there is very little difference between Age of War and Age of War 2, and it was MASSIVELY disappointing to me. The only significant differences are the unit and tower upgrades which add a new strategy, but no real earth shattering changes.
Age of War 2 is just Age of War 1 revamped with shiny new graphics and a couple new ages that aren't really even necessary.
In Louissi's blog, a longgg time ago when the game was still in relatively early development, he showed (with pictures) how he was going to have three spawn points with three "lanes" along with barricades that you could make. This sounded like an absolutely GREAT idea to me and it was what I expected, a great, innovative, game changing idea.
I guess I shouldn't have held this sequel up to as high of standards, because it really was disappointing.
I didnt get dissapointed, maybe because i didnt give it a very hight standard. The only place i got dissapointed was the last age, because when you and your enemy get 4 laser canons. then there is no end to the game. and the strongest unite dont have any opgrades, so it very useless.
but i liked the graphic, much better then the first one ^_^
Ummm no It's a free flash game! Don't expect much from something thats free... We are lucky to have free flash games geez. Imagine if they were not free. so dont go saying it's a disappointment the person who made it spent a lot of time on it... It's hard to make games you know? All the scripting , codes and all that. So they deserve some credit.
no....I LOVED WARFARE 1944 only people who hate tactics thought it was bad because in the first one it was best unit=win now their is different strategy and is alot more fun..

no it was real. Louissi just finished the first age and then decided that multi player was to hard and the 3 lanes was too hard then Louissi' just added upgrades and you get the same thing you had last time
it was real but Louissi couldn't be bothered doing it so he just added upgrades. If you want more proof its on his blog that hes not doing it and that it IS real
