I just got him the other day. Still working on a name so if anyone has any suggestions I would like to hear them.

Cool , I have a budgie named Bullet. You could name your bird fireball? He has cool fiery colors that's how I came up with the name.

Beautiful bird! =) I would go with Sol. Or something else sun or fire related, because it has such nice orange and yellowing coloring. Flame perhaps?

Hmm...male or female?

Female: I suggest Apogee, Phoebe, or Phoenix.
Male: Fireball, Comet, Sol, or Eclipse.

Wait...now I feel stupid. It's a guy. But whatevs, that's my suggestion.
That's a beautiful bird, by the way.

I really don't know. At this point there really isn't any way for me to be sure without some pricey test being done at the vets. That's why I've been looking at unisex names.

@Holden012
Cute budgie. I find they are one of the harder parrots to train. Hvae you got a name for him/her?

How expensive are parrots, anyways?

Once you get into anything over a budgie the initial cost is a bit high. but afterwords they are rather inexpensive.

The conure alone without any of the accessories needed came to $380 dropped from $450.

My cockatiel was $75 alone that was 5 years ago. I think they have gone up in price since then.

For these size birds the cage runs about $100-400 and toys and perches are about $5-10 on average.

Though after yo have what you need seed runs about $7 but it's better to go with pellets that's about $13-14 one bag can last a good while.

So about $600-1000? That's quite a bit.

I need a job . . . .

Oh wait, I'm too young. Stupid child labor laws. -.-
