I just got him the other day. Still working on a name so if anyone has any suggestions I would like to hear them.

Name it Barry. I don't know why, he just looks like a Barry to me.

Monkey is sooo original.
I would stick with Quirk or Mithra

Either Sol, or Mithra. They both are creative and sound awesome.

He looks like a Mithra to me.

He's definitely a Pete. And if he's a talking bird, Pete's easiest for a bird to mimic saying.

I'm trying to go with unisex names since I don't know the gender without an expensive test being done or waiting to see if s/he lays eggs.

This guy has a bigger vocabulary then I thought. I covered him for bedtime and he said "thank you" then after a bit of gibberish said "I'm a good bird". I already knew he could say "hello" from the store, and he's starting to pick up &quotretty bird".

Given males tend to talk more then females, this would suggest a male bird.

Actually I could maybe go with Ilios, that's Greek for sun.

Another name I am batting around is Izel.
