Don't know. Personally I would prefer a third party in office, but I'm not sure any of them would do much better.

Me.

Even though I hate them with a passion, they have the house and senate in their reach because Obama can't figure out his a*s from a hole in the ground.

People are extremely fickle, and this is what happens. Someone starts off good, everyone loves him/her. Then when they don't live up to most's expectations, they fail. The president is the key person.

In the Obama's case, he made promises that he couldn't keep, so it's understandable if he didn't meet people's expectations. But what president hasn't done that?

People don't think like that. In reality, the president shouldn't even have an effect on the midterms. But people don't think like that. Most of them, anyway. They see the president as what he is doing, and that is what the senate is doing. He is the face of his party.

Past results don't matter much to people.

I dont, the Democrats are taking over politics and it will be like that for a while.

I went to the book store today and browsed through the politics section. 90% of the books there are either Glen Beck, or some other idiot who hates Obama . So I think there are a few conservatives out there.... It wouldn't surprise me if a Republican got elected.

God forbid another Bush gets elected. If so... Hello Fascism!

Bush was NOT fascist. He may not have been very good, but he wasn't fascist.

We should just drop the parties and vote on the merits of ideas and canidates, anything else is just demeaning ourselves. Case closed.

Let's see:
Censorship check
Jailing with out trial check
Extended use of military power check
Promoted large oil companies that he had direct ties with check

Is it me? Or does this kinda sound like Mussolini?

It was pretty close for comfort.

That sounds like a pretty good idea actually.

What I hate is that republicans/conservatives blame Obama for every little thing he has done, and have not realized he had failed on many of his liberal promises. Most of them just look at the healtcare, guantanamo bay thing, and freak out. Of course I can't say much i guess, I don't care for him either, considering he hasn't kept many promises (the one that makes me most mad is the gay marriage thing). As for the house and senate, I do think Republicans will take them back, due to the large number of republicans/conservatives goin crazy about everything.

Agreed. Down with the party system.

Jailing with out trial check
Extended use of military power check
Promoted large oil companies that he had direct ties with check

I don't remember any of this. Nor have I heard of it.

Two of them, 2 and 3, these make no sense to me. The president has no direct control over the military. The only way he can take control is if he is forced. He cannot force himself.

And the jailing, this had better not have anything to do with Guantanamo Bay.

Patriot Act

political dissidents were jailed with out trial for preaching out against the Bush administration. It also allowed the government to legally to what ever the f*** they want to do to "suspected terrorists". Wire tapping, web monitoring, access to suspects financial records... To top it all off Bush gave it a very American name. Nothing says "God bless America" than violating my Constitutional rights. Hitler, Mussolini, and other Fascist regimes have done exactly what Bush was doing.

He got an entire world powers involved in bloodshed all so Oil companies could make a profit. *Remember how the bush family made its fortune?* He also pretty much gave the Military an virtually unlimited budget so we could "fight terrorism"

so the commander-in-chief of the US military has no control over it? Makes perfect sense.

Mass Media tip #14: Use the Obama as a scapegoat for everything. Floods, Earthquakes, Twitter, are all Obama's fault
