What kind of notifications are you suggesting? Because we already have two of them: one for merits and one for profile comments. You can toggle both of them to be on or off to notify you on your email. Were you thinking others?

Many people want to have email notifications of the things that go on in the Forum. Do you want something like that?
Where it notifies you when someone comments on a forum you commented on lately, merits, and page comments. It needs to notify you on your page, not email. That my opinion.
I know of this suggestion (it was made before) and there's one major problem that comes with it...
When you post on a thread and after yours, 20 people make their post, it will result in you having a long list of notifications on one entry in one thread...
Imagine what would happen if you would post in 20 different threads, maybe even in one that is very popular? It would give you a days work to sift through all of them and with all of them I mean about ( 20 post x 20 threads = ) 400 notifications to check...
Then imagine how many games you could play during that amount of time! Let alone make new posts in the same or other threads...
