I've seen quite a lot of people in the business world without any education, get to what they consider to be at the top, in a capitalist society like ours we don't have to be slaves to education we can do what we want.
In order to forward society yes kids need education. The jobs that require no education (unless in that sport etc. you know what i mean) are usually ones that provide amusement etc. (oh and the 'job' seems to provide lots of entertainment too). Although you can say that these jobs provide cultural advancements (don't know where the 'job' fits in here) I say we need more doctors, engineers etc. (especailly philosophers. How many people you know want to become a philospher?)...
Believe it or not, if you are a citizen you must have at least, I think its 140 hours, of education in elementary school and middle school each year.
MUST... RESIST... FLAMING...
If you paid any attention to the world around you whatsoever you would know that millions of people are unfit for the military and are turned away from it because they do not have a High School Diploma or GED. If you do not have it you are screwed. You cannot enter the military in the USA without it. Please try to at least pretend to be less ignorant in your posts. Even if you are 15 that is no excuse. 75% of military applicants are turned away because they are unfit for duty.
Statistics show that fewer people in this generation are receiving higher education. We have the most educated workforce in the world with 27% of American workers having a degree, but as the baby boomers retire that number will steadily fall if current college attendance rates continue.

lol porn star training i'm pretty sure education has very little to do with sex
My brother in law is the manager of a uhaul that makes the most profit in the area and he's gonna get promoted to regional manager. He has very little education, he's horrible at spelling but he can do his job very very well.
IF you are soldier you go to one of those colleges like West Point.
Only 25% of officers went to West Point, and still that number remains. Most go through a course called ROTC. I'd hope you knew this.
Education is not a must, however, in this world, you might want to have one. You'll get jobs people that have been working in that field for 30 years won't get.
College beats experience in hiring. In reality, this idea fails, but it's how the wheel turns*.
Yes,i think it's a must.People should be educated not only to get a good job but to make your life easier. For example, you need to wirte something, pay bills,do shopping, read a catalogue...wich means you need to know how to read, write, mathematics and that's only for simple things. If someone is not educated then he has no future in today's community
Education is very important, hence why at least through Middle School is required in the United States from every citizen (with few extreme exceptions). The problem is that, at least in America, education is highly valued by the general public but not everyone values it the same way. (ie, some families or communities might value labor over education and not send their children to high school at all.) The biggest problem is if that kids don't care about their education, especially high school education, we blame the teachers and imply it is their fault for not properly motivating the student. (google NCLB if you question that.) If we as a society want our children to value education then we better hold them responsible for the outcomes.
Anyway, after that slight tangent, education is very important but it's not necessary for absolutely everyone to have. It just increases the odds you will get a good job and make a decent salary, although there are plenty of people who do well enough without it.
