I am a christian, and I cannot take much more of people trying to make more and more threads trying to disprove god! Just make one and keep commenting on that one! Over half of World Events, Politics, Religion, Etc section is about disproving god. STOP ALREADY!!!

Why would Christians make a thread trying to prove god if the atheists stopped posting posts trying to prove god. In a recent study, 92% of Americans consider themselves Christians. So there should be more posts about proving god then atheists disproving god. But there isn't.


Not only is your data off by a bit less than 20%, but AG is not made up wholly of Americans. Also, the statistics of the whole isn't necessarily accurate for a smaller group within the whole. If 5% of Americans are emo, that doesn't mean that 5% of students in Californian high schools are emo. It doesn't make any logical sense.

But seriously, people are going to talk about religion no matter what. I really don't understand why you don't want to learn views that are opposed to your own. Its very interesting. Afterall, seeing as you already know what you think, so it only follows that you should be interested in learning what other people think. For instance, athiests. I'm interested in learning what your views are (well, maybe not you personally, but other christian people), so I don't why you won't give me the same courtesy.

It doesn't make any logical sense.

In addition to everything you just said, I would add that you can't assume that every group will be equally vocal. If anything, the minority will strive to make up for their lack of numbers with a powerful voice.

duh, of course there are. AG has like 300,000 ghost accounts. But in the WEPR section, what we're talking about here, there're like 5 or 6 Christians and many, many atheists. and I mean regulars, not passing whiners like you or a few other people I'll be kind enough not to mention(coughcoughgunthexcoughsneezehackcough)

First, I have to say that this whould be considered spam if it was not for the fact that this thread ironically became a thread that you are against... and second, I whould like to say thatyou have no proof. Lets say somone comes up to you and offers you money to come behind a building, and says that if you don't then you will explode randomly. Of course, you whould wan't proof of that, so why is riligion the exeption? Probably becease people enjoy the false since of security...

ALL of my previous school students considered themselves jewish. Only 7 out of my class went to a sinagog on a weekly basis and seriously belived in the jewish god.

If I remember there was a topic asking what belief we all had and when I counted it up Christians and atheists were about even.

hmmmm....sounds like god is a bad person, the way u describe him. Also, i don't feel sorry for u, to have such a bad judgement. Do u mean i should bow down to him, for the rest of my life to go to heaven? Like a dictator, right? Then we will see...the day we will die.
