i just don't get it. wouldn't you need a labtop case for it? and are we really going back to everything be giant. things were giant then then went to pocket size and are they going back to giant now?
i dun really bother, gizmos and gadjets are not really my type, but just to weigh in,i think it may be a little heavy for some, and hey,im sure there will be a v 2 whether this sells good or bad,so,why hurry?
I am going to buy it because its like having an ipod and computer in one... I don't have my own computer or ipod touch so I think this could be good...
It's a nice design and everything. Could be very helpful to those that are on the move a lot... sure you could have a computer, or a bad netbook, but this is smaller, thinner, and easier to get around with.
Surprised, at the name that spawned so many ill-tasting puns, surprised at the performance, and suprised at the lack of features. I for one, will not buy that thing.
the 64 GB iPad costs $700 without 3G, which is about the same as my Dell Studio 17 laptop. My computer holds almost 8 times as much information, better sound card, faster processor, windows 7, and runs flash. the only thing the iPad has that my laptop doesn't is the touch screen. the portability might be nice, but my screen is huge, and If I wanted to get one as portable as the iPad, it would cost much less.
The 16GB iPad has the same features as the 64GB without 3G, but you can have this 16GB iPad with 3G for only $629. Or, you can have the iPad with Wi-Fi only for, using this 16GB iPad, $499.
By the way, I have the same laptop. I am using it now. The iPad is not the best computer, but it still is a great product.
