Problem with the search engine is that you also get hits of other people's Profiles where the searched user has commented.
for example my friend and I both made accounts but we cant find eachother
I can't think of how you'd find each other with a search engine (It seems to me you don't know what each other's usernames are, otherwise you could find one another).
If you guys don't post at all, or comment, copy the link of your Profile, and email it to your friend (You must have one another's email, right?). Then add them as a friend on their Profile. Simple...

Why? this is a good question. Many newbies do not know about the search engines.Or why there isn't an AG search engine.
It would be great to search Friends by Country or City!
True... I would love to find a German friend... But that would only work if you give out that kind of information, and city's only if you type the name right.
