Blizzard Entertainment, Bethesda, Valve (Half-Life and Portal), Bioware, ID Software, Gas Powered Games (Demigod), and EA Games (evil corporation that must burn). These are the most popular software developing companies, in my opinion.
Honestly I have never heard of Rockstar North until you have announced it lol
Since I know GTA but not the developing company that made it, GTA is probably their most popular game series they have made.
Blizzard Entertainment, Bethesda, Valve (Half-Life and Portal), Bioware, ID Software, Gas Powered Games (Demigod), and EA Games (evil corporation that must burn).
They are all PC company. RN is a developer for consoles; and is by far one of the most popular, even if their other games (apart from GTA series) kinda sucks.
I disagree. I think that the best are Bethesda (Fallout 3, Oblicion), Bioware (SW: KOTR (1/2/3), Mass Effect), and Ubisoft (Assassin's Creed (1/2)). Valve is alright. Gas Powered Games, they were a WHOLE lot better last decade with games like Dungeon Seige (yay! Got it before movie so it wasn't ruined for me!!!). And Blizzard, let's hope Diablo 3 and Starcraft 3 are worth the wait.... And Rockstar North, I never really liked the GTA series. They all seemed the same to me (except the 1st).
They make console games too, for instance Fallout 3, Mass Effect, Madden series, and all sorts of other games.
I know that, I was saying that RN is born as a console developer and the PC developers firstly used PC as platform for their games. It's the same as saying "Capcom is a coin-op developer" and we all know that the Street Fighter series is for consolle also.
Manhunt was also developed by Rockstar North.
And I loved that game too. Wasn't it going to have a sequel?
