Hello, I was recently hanging out with a couple friends online when I got the link to http://omgitsaninja.com/ . Looking around the site, it looks like shady, and seeing many many popular games there(both from now and from a long time ago) made me think, "Did they really get permission to host these?" So that's my question, does one need permission to host a flash game on a website where they can make money? If so, how would I report this site just to make sure?
A game from a flash website that is not directly made from that said website does indeed need permission from the developer, in order for that game to be hosted. A website that does not give proper credit to the developer/company that made that flash game and/or did not ask for permission from the two to host that game can and will suffer proper consequences.
Are there games from AG perhaps that are on that website? Contact the admins of AG under "infringement" (just click the top-down arrow to find it). Explain the situation to the admins, provide the website in question, and they may soon contact you back with what the verdict is.
Just provide who you are and your Email account, and they may contact you within a week if there was a misunderstanding or if there really was a problem with the website in question. Thanks for the heads up, Johnald!
