I am aware that there is already a thread about marijuana that is quite popular. However, I want to discuss a more specific event that is happening; four specific events, to be more precise. If you think marijuana should remain illegal because it is bad, please refer to this thread here. I would like to discuss what will happen if marijuana is legalized and if the new marijuana laws and restrictions are fair.
Oregon, California, Washington, and Nevada are currently putting marijuana legalization into consideration. Oregon and California are actually putting marijuana legalization to a vote!
As far as I can tell, the current laws and restrictions are as follows:
1. You must be 21 or older to smoke marijuana. 2. Marijuana can not be smoked in public areas. 3. A percentage of profit from marijuana will go to drug and alcohol treatment. *4. Residents over 21 years of age will be aloud possession of up to one ounce of weed. *5. State residents can cultivate small marijuana gardens, and local governments can decide whether or not to allow sales of the drug in their area. ~6. Adults could grow their own marijuana and the sale of all cannabis strains' seeds and starter plants with no license, fee or registration. People who want to cultivate and sell marijuana, or process commercial psychoactive cannabis, would be required to obtain a license from the state.

I used to smoke Marijwauna here, but it was the pure stuff. Im in Dominican, and back then, it was the same as smoking tabacco. Things were not as poisoned with industrialized chemical crap they have now days.
because honestly, it's not the plant that kilsl you. It's what they use to make the plant grow, and what they put into the plant to increase whatever high they want.
The normal Marijwauna plant will not kill you. It will give you a buzz for mabye 2 hours or so, sometimesm re, sometimes less, and you recover afterwards. It will nto slow you down eithier. You will still regain as long as you rest.
It's all those chemical agents they put in the soil for it. And as I have said before, when you get a illegal trade, you get druglords, and drug dealer's. Over here, we have to deal with these bastards, these drug lords. Since the crop is illegal in America, they see it to solve it by inducing violence on the farmer's here, and making us miserable. So do us a favor, regulate the crop properly, and do LEgalize it. Just make sure you regulate it. it does us a favor as well, since places like Dominican, and other caribbean nations, and Mainlander area's don't get screwed by these pigs.
It will make us more profitable, and you guys as well. And plus as long as you regulate it, and also make sure you enforce it well enough by getting adverts out SOLELY for a older generation, not for some naive tweens. So legalize it. It won't harm anyone as long as it's not grown with chemical induced crap.
