Lionshead recently anounced the release of Fable 3 to be some time in 2010. Lionshead studios explained that the game is focused on the son of the hero from fable 2 and his journey to overthrow the current king of Albion. Apparently you get to become the king or gueen and rule the land at the end of the game. What are your thoughts?
I loved fable 2 but peter molyneux made it out to be something it wasn't. I think ill skip listening to what he says about fable 3 so i don't get to hyped up.
1. First half of the game - rebellion against king of Albion. 2. Second half of the game - Hostile country threatens you. 3. Weapon Morphing. 3(a). The more of that type of unit you kill, the more looks of it you get. (e.g You kill alot of Undead Skeletons, your weapon looks like it is made of bone, you kill lawful / innocent units, it makes your weapon drip with blood.) 4. Dynamic + Expression Touch. 4(a). Instead of just doing expressions, you can also touch the person, making it look more realistic (e.g Person in a burning building, you can hug him for comfort, then you can carry him out of the building). 5. Land Morphing. 5(a). This happened from childhood to adulthood in Fable 2, your actions changed Bowerstone Old Town, now it's a slum or a prospering lovely area. Now, your actions as King / Queen can change it much - MUCH more often. 6. Changes from Fable 2. 6(a). If you import your information from Fable II to Fable III, it could change the start of Fable III, for example, if your Fable II character was rich, then his wealth may go to your Fable III Character (Import like such, but not sure if it works in those circumstances).
Yea, ME2 seems to have sparked off a trend with the whole importing your character from an old game thing, a feature I really like.
Tbh Fable 2 was a let down. It was a rich but very short experience considering it's an RPG. I just hope Fable 3 lives up to the hype. By the sound of it, it probably will.

YES! I love this arguement!!!
You know in World of Warcraft you have classes? Why not here? Make your own class, instead of an unlimited warrior / mage / skiller, try to make: Necromancers (Raise Dead, Chaos, Inferno, Time Control), Paladins (Hammers, Shock maybe, its a hard one to make), Hunters (Crossbow maybe, Ranger outfit, alot of skill points, maybe a low level vortex.) Rogues (Pistols, black-died outfit, skill, some strength and possibly Chaos Spell and Time Control) Shamans (Colorful robes, Shock, Inferno, Vortex, elemental powers really...)
Ya see? And it's not just that easy either, Robin-Hood Rogue, bad Necromancer - Good Necromancer (think about it, you use the enemy against them), Neutral Shamans - ANYTHING! It's 'tis simple to do... He could be a corrupt but good Rogue, who isn't exactly selfless but isn't selfish! Try to juggle it round a notch or 2! It's excellent how you can do it all...
I know that this is going to be a really awesome game. Importing could be good or bad because if you want to be good in F3 and your F2 character is bad then you won't want to import your F2 character. This could really suck if your F2 character was filthy rich.

I agree fable 2 was awsome, hes gunna hype fable 3 up a lot. I think its coming out around autumn time.
