I'm really annoyed by the school uniforms. Every single day i have to..
1)Tuck in my shirt (i always get in trouble for not doing that)
2)Wear a belt everyday
3)Can't wear any type of shirt we want
4)We have to have a certain colored jacket
Is there any type of school that let's you wear whatever you want?
My school is so formal and strict.

most public schools let you wear whatever you want as long as there's no profanity, or drug references. and girls can't dress like prostitutes...

I go to a charter school so is that a private school or a public school? There's 25 of us in my class.

Quit complaning. I have to wear a uniform too and it really isn't as bad as you are making it out to be. I GUARANTEE that you will have some type of uniform or dress code that you have to abide by when you get a job or start your career outside of college. So the uniforms are just getting you ready for later in life.

Grow up and deal with it.

At the same time, I get both parts of the fight for uniforms. I think that if every kid at school was wearing uniforms, there would be less-

"Oh look! She thinks she's all rich and hot because she has that expensive skirt and top from Hollister!"

No one could really make fun of another for dressing "funny" or "weird", unless they didn't realize that they're wearing it too!

But, kids should feel free to express themselves how they want to. Whether it's... sadly as it may sound-

"Oh m Gey! Look at my top, it totally makes me look like a prostitute!"

or...

"Maybe I like dressing myself with a yellow top that has pictures of anime on it,and an odd red color pants"

Because whether sooner or later, they'll end up fixing there flaws.

Looks like a funeral...

Drop the charter school, go to a public school. You're uniform problem is cured.

To be honest, that's what stopped me from going to a private school. Or a charter school. Or whatever the hell it is.

It makes me feel confined. Which is bad for me psychological state, usually. It's also quite an annoyance. Uniforms like that aren't my thing.

I wouldn't wear it anyways, lol. Simply to bug the living f*ck out of the principal.

At my school, we can't wear anything fancy, and almost EVERYTHING in our uniform is chosen for us. I agree with CallToTheVaticano though, people wouldn't get teased or made fun of that much. Our teachers have already been giving out uniform violations. We also have to make sure we wear our school sweaters at mass. Our uniforms are dark dull colours.

And yes, I go to a catholic school.
