2 months ago i heard the pope was assaulted by a woman.
im not exactly sure she tried to kill him. was she thrilled to see the pope and wanted to get her hands on him?
or did she try to kill him. i dont really know what the hell happened.

I think I know the story your talking about, unfortunately I don't remember the details. I do remember it wasn't the first time she tried it.

The woman was mentally challenged which was why she wasn't convicted of anything.


This. I don't think she was trying to hurt him. I just think her pulling him down was due to the security guards pushing her, and her trying to catch her balance.

It sounds like she was trying to hug him, which usually means, if it does kill the person being hugged, it wasn't intentional.

Now, the headline "Pope Tries to Kill Woman" would be a lot more interesting to me.
