We all know that Barack Obama is half-black, and is called the first black president of America. What is neglected is the fact that he is also half-white, yet he is never referred to as the 44th white president. He is just as much white as he is black, so why is he never referred to as white when he is referred to as black?

This is not meant to be racist at all. Just something that has been puzzling me for a while.

Yea! They should be considered the first MIXED president. That would be a lot better. Also it would be more politically correct since the government is all about that now days.

I didn't think mixed was a race...

I still disagree with that.
Biracial people do not make up their own race, they are made up by other races.

This is what adios said Floyd:
They can call themselves black, but they aren't they are mixed.

And Yes I said they but I meant He. Sorry typo, it happens. We aren't perfect. But I'm sure you knew what I meant?

So if a mixed guy (black and white) has kids with a girl thats mixed also (asian and middle eastern) what will their kids be?
@Floyd, I thought I made the mistake and said that. lol

They would mixed, or asian, mid-Eastern, white, and black.
The point I'm trying to make is that mixed people do not make up a race.
Is a guy mixed with black and white the same race as one mixed with mexican and asian?
No, they are both mixed, but the are not the same race.

Actually, there are no real "races". "Race" is just a made up idea that people created to categorize each other in the simplest way possible: by looking at their skin. It really doesn't exist, we just think it does.

Really, most of the presidents were Biracial? Or multiracial? So maybe it actually shouldn't even matter.

It shouldn't.

It shouldn't.

But for the sake of historical facts, it should matter. (I know contradicting myself here.)

Yeah, it shouldn't.
It does unfortunately though, humans focus more on differences than similarities.

They prefer to have ways to single people out rather than finding ways to group them together with them. They use it as solutions to their problems, even though they're almost always false accusations.
