The human race is triumphant. After succesfuly developing space travel, they swarmed around the galaxy, colonising dozens of worlds. In doing so, they found numerous signs of alien civilisations: odd bits of technology, ruined desert cities of gold filagree and glowing blue light, abandoned scapyards... but no life. But soon enough, following the trail across the galaxy, they found them: the Enkari. Highly advanced lifeforms, they were all but extinct when the humans found them, claimed by a deadly disease. They bequeathed their knowledge to the humans, in the form of a datacrystal, hundreds of miles high. The humans brought the crystal to earth, where the scientists eagerly awaited a chance to experiment with the advanced technology. However, on the way to earth, a rogue military general, Amadeus Sungh, attacked the convoy with a small fleet, seizing the crystal. The rest of the humans counterattacked, and in the process, the vast crystal was lost, accidently blown apart by weapons fire. Only a few shards remained, and war broke out among the humans, fighting for the knowledge contained within...
Tuth Choss, Haron System
You wake up, and find yourself lying on a table. The room is dark, but you can make out banks of surgical equipment. You clutch your head, trying to remember something, anything before this room. Nothing, nothing apart from your name. You sit up, and climb off the bed. You hear a clanking noise, and stare in horror at your body. Half of it seems to have been encased in some sort of golden armor, with glowing blue cables snaking in and out of your skin. Twin golden gauntlets are affixed to your hands, and metallic armor covers your torso. Armor covers the lower half of your legs, and on your chest you see a green crystal affixed to the armor. Blue cables connect to this, and it glows eerily. Despite the armor, you can move freely. In fact, you feel light and flexible. Suddenly, the floor shakes and there is an enormous BOOM. You are knocked off your feet, but get back up again and rush to the door. It opens, and you stumble into a large hall, filled with people running away. You stare out of a window, and see tanks and soldiers charging towards the base...

Levelling Up
You level up every time you gain ten XP, either from defeating enemies or completing a difficult task. Every time you level up, you may add 5 points to your stats, and I will offer you a choice of new skills.
I will accept ONE person for this RPG, and I will be inviting that person. If they refuse, it will be open to anyone. Feel free to ask any questions.
Name: Deimos Praelium Gender: Male Class: Telepath Skills: Mind Read, Psi Bolt, Datalink, Mind Control Speed: 10 Strength: 10 Power: 10 Endurance: 10 Health: 73/100 XP: 1/30 Level: 5 Inventory: Energy Blade, EM rifle (Ammo:75) 7x Protein Pack, 6x Syringe MP: 22/35
About half of the gunk hits you, but you dodge the rest. The creature screeches, and raises a claw to smite you. There is less armor on it's armpit, but you would get hit to attack it. What do you do?
Name: Deimos Praelium Gender: Male Class: Telepath Skills: Mind Read, Psi Bolt, Datalink, Mind Control Speed: 10 Strength: 10 Power: 10 Endurance: 10 Health: 73/100 XP: 1/30 Level: 5 Inventory: EM rifle (Ammo:75) 7x Protein Pack, 6x Syringe MP: 16/35
Stunned and screeching with pain, it clatters backwards. You dive forwards, and thrust the blade into the armpit. There's a hiss and a burning sound, and the blade dies. However, fire explodes from the sword impact point, and the creature burns to death. You gasp, tired, only to hear a noise from the burning pile of chitin and fangs. Click. Clack. Click. Clack. The fire draws itself up, rearranging the armor and flesh into a monstrous form.
Monstrous Experiment Form 2: 100/100
It barrels towards you, screaming. What do you do?
With immense effort, you manage to bypass his armor and kill him. You get 2 syringes and 30 ammo for the EM rifle. You continue up to the outpost. There's a large gateway with a guard posted there. He doesn't have the special armor, but he does have a huge gun. The walls of the outpost are high, and have barbed wire at the top of them. There are no guards, but there's a security camera controlling an auto-turret. What do you do?
[I don't think I explained the new MP system to you. When you ue you psychic powers, you lose some MP. Different skills cost different amounts of MP. For example, Ignite costs around 5MP, and Advanced Telekinesis can cost anywhere between 4 and 10MP. You gain 5MP every time you level up. To restore it, you can meditate to get 1XP and and 5MP. A syringe fully restores MP. Any questions?]
Name: Deimos Praelium Gender: Male Class: Telepath Skills: Mind Read, Psi Bolt, Datalink, Mind Control, Meditate Speed: 10 Strength: 10 Power: 10 Endurance: 10 Health: 73/100 XP: 1/30 Level: 5 Inventory: EM rifle (Ammo:75) 7x Protein Pack, 6x Syringe MP: 0/35
Mostrous Experiment Form 2: 70/100
Bringing the full might of your psychic abilities to bear, you wrest the beast's mind from it's grasp. It claws itself with it's fiery claws, but all too soon your power is exhausted. Tendrils of fire rush towards you. What now?
Nice. Okay, you scale the wall, and creep into the facility. You arrive in a vast chamber full of machinery. Robotic soldiers are constructed at one end, and at the other, scientists construct weaponry and armor. You scramble up to a high walkway, and gaze down. The 'chamber' is only part of a gargantuan pit, strentching kilometres down. At the bottom you see a massive forge, tearing up and melting house - sized pieces of metal. Further up you see labs, with engineers making death machines. The entire place is a vast war foundry! Do you want to go to:
A) Medical Sector B) Weaponry Sector C) Robotics Sector D) Sector X?
!!! Level Up !!!
Add five skill points wherever you choose.
New skills:
-Telekinesis Master: Control up to {50x Power) kg. Variable MP cost Replaces Advanced Telekinesis and Levitate -Nuke: Create explosions with enough force to level a house. 35 MP, 10 health -Translucency: Double MP, half Endurance -Cold Fusion: +20 Power, -30 MP
cold fusion means you get 40 + what ever you do with stats power but then only 10 mp.
translucency makes mp 80 but endurence 1.5 + (.5 what ever stat points you put in endurence)
alright, i think i had a lot of fun.
Indeed. If it were me, I'd go for Translucency, then next level, put everything into Endurance, and go for Nuke or TK master because you need the high MP for them.
You can deflect physical projectiles, but EM bullets, unfortunately the mist common ammunition, are uncontrollable.
Okay, you arrive at the Weaponry Sector without incedent. Three scientists are working on a large cannon. You duck behind a bank of computers, and plot your next move. On the table to the right is a massive gun, constucted out of a lightweight alloy. In a display case in front of you is a set of white body armor. A scientist takes it out of the case, and puts it on. "Deploy forcefield" he commands, and a wave of blue light passes over the armor. Satisfied, he puts it into the case again. Affixed to the wall, you spy a collection of shruikens. Playfully, you hover them a few inches off the ground, and send them hurtling through the air. The scientists are dead before they hit the floor.
Do you take:
A) The Gauss Minigun (100 Ammo) B) The Shield Armor (+ 6 Endurance, -1 Speed) C) The Nanotube Shruikens?
You may only take one, as due to your low Strength, you can't carry more than 2.
Name: Deimos Praelium Gender: Male Class: Telepath Skills: Mind Read, Psi Bolt, Datalink, Mind Control, Meditate Speed: 10 Strength: 10 Power: 10 Endurance: 10 Health: 51/100 XP: 1/30 Level: 5 Inventory: EM rifle (Ammo:75) 7x Protein Pack, 5x Syringe MP: 35/35
You use the syringe, and jump out of the way, your speed, making the dodge easy. The tendrils curl into a ball of fire, and it spins towards you. Trying to dodge, you trip, and it slams into your back. The creature clatters towards you, and raises a scythe of fire and death above you, and prepares to strike. What do you?
from what i can tell, nanotube shurikens is basicly using mp for ammo, requires some form of telekenesis, and if used right, a 1 shot kill for most things.
