So yeah not really the best title since it can be misleading, but screw it.

So I've had this debate going on with myself about which I like better, having to take 10 bullets to kill someone on a video game, (ex. bfbc, halo, etc.) vs. basically instant kill, (cod, and others.)

What do you enjoy more? usually with cod first person to shoot and get damage in wins, but with bfbc2, you have time to run away and reheal yourself. Which isn't as realistic but can be a lot more enjoyable. (my opinion)

so what's your thoughts guy? I'm actually curious. By the way, of COURSE there are other games that I should mention but right now it's 4 a.m. and I can't think of any lol.

Oneshotting FTW. That's ridiculously fun on Unreal Tournament, dodging at the same time as getting oneshot. It challenges your aim.

Rainbow Six is pretty good about how many times you can get shot, btw regenerating health like in CoD is not realistic...anyways most people have adapted that system, but yea even on easy Rainbow Six you get shot 2-3 times with max body armor you'll die...

I 100% agree with you.
More health games though takes more skill one shot games or about instant kill games you can just spray welcoming noobs to be good at it. Thats why CoD is such a highly played game because noobs enjoy killing people easily.

It depends, I have played games where you have to little health and its to easy to kill people if you sneak up on them, even if your aiming at them from a 75 degree angle while they are aiming a bit off.
I have also played games where you have to much health and tactics are entirely pointless because you can't ambush people.
I lean towards less health though.

Really? I say that telefragging is the cheapest kill in that game. All you have to keep as a constant is that the shot has to be in the general direction of the enemy, then right-click. That's it. Body full o' gore and blood, and you move on to the next target. There's hardly any skill involved, unlike a shock combo or a perfect link gun kill, where you fire 5 shots and all 5 hit the target without missing and it's a kill...yeah...

Not all weapons cause 1 shots...just the majority. And for that to happen, you have to be spot-on with your aiming. Lesse here...

1) Shock Rifle -- Shock Combo

2) Rocket Launcher -- 1-3 rockets hit right smack in the face

3) Flak Cannon -- melee shot works, alt fire just needs to hit the body spot-on
4) Assault Rifle -- grenade to the face

5) Link Gun -- 5+ people linking, while you fire off one shot

6) Redeemer/Ion Painter/Translocator -- self-explanatory

7) Bio-Rifle -- fully-loaded shot to the anywhere

8) lightning gun / sniper rilfe -- HEAD SHOT!

Are there more? I think that's pretty much all of the standard equipment that can do insta-kills. Unreal Tournament beasts, more or less
