Armor games had games that are defiantly one of the awesome-est ones on the web but not ALL of them! So if you know a game that is not here by all means post it! (NOTES: Please do not suggest games that are violent, offensive to some, ect. without prior notice! Only post game that have a english language option. Leave a link if possible.)
Moderators and Administrators: We realize that due to copyright or whatever you can't post a certain game, but please tell us which ones!

All of them.

Posting someone else's work is frowned upon in AG, because you gain the benefits of posting the game, not the actual developer. If you want a certain game uploaded to AG, then either contact the developer, or contact the administration to have them contact the developer for the said game.

Posting another's work on AG is definite copyright and you'll be in deep

...if you doo.

Exactly. If you find a game that you really like that we don't have on Armor Games, you can:

1. Ask the developer to upload it on Armor Games. Most developers love to put their games on as many sites as possible to try and get their name out there and raise the popularity of their games. So most are more than happy to oblige such requests and submit their game to AG.

2. Contact the administration or myself. If you use the contact page, or contact me directly on my profile, I will try my best to contact the developer to get permission to add the game to this site. This is what we did with many of the games when the new AG site was launched a few years ago. I contacted many many many developers, and would be happy to help with it again. Just let me know which ones =)

I thought it was common for games to spread without the developer necessarily being privvy to each and every site the game was put on. Is this not the case? I thought the developer benefited from this because the game contains links back to the sponsor's site wherever it goes.

Who do we tell to ask them to ask the creator to put it on here?
Daniel never has time to do it, for all the games hes involved with.

Anyone above the Moderator line will do. These guys work for AG and will be happy to make some calls if they have the time.

And you can take out those links if you're good enough. It's best to just have the original developers upload it themselves so no one has to ask questions. Also, for a much less credible reason, YOU get the AP for submitting; they don't.

They most likely will be happy to do just that! More games on AG means more fun for the users!
And a bigger pile of games to choose from means more popularity for AG! =)

Like I said many times before: the original is ALWAYS better! Besides... this way you can easily find the creator when needed! I have a 'search for flash game music' thread going and it makes my job a lot more difficult if the creator's website link is taken out of the credits!
Then I just keep ringing a doorbell without knowing whether it's the right adress I'm at! Had that problem before where I was redirected to a website that had absolutely completely NOTHING to do with the game or the creator of it...

Depends on the developer, and the way in which the game is posted. Sure, most developers don't mind their games spreading to other sites, as long as they are given due credit. However, there are many sites who will take the game, and post it on their site, strip the author of their credits, and insert their own advertising for personal gain. Not good! AG of course would NEVER do something like that. We are very careful about giving each and every artist their due credit. So we would rather be safe in asking a developer and awarding them proper credit, than posting it without their consent.

You also must remember that with our particular system of submitting games, the account that posted the game is the one given credit for it. So if I posted a game developed by another person, then people might think that I had made the game, or am trying to get points for someone else's work.

It is always just more considerate to consult the developer first, and give them the chance to personally submit the game.

This is very comforting to read! Always nice when these guidelines are followed by a gaming website! Just shows how this website has an advantage over others... =)

Ok, sounds like (and IS) the most the most reasonable course of action for the submitting of a game, but it made me wonder...
what if a developer is not so active anymore and doesn't care about the game (something I can't imagine happening, but stil) and someone else wants to upload the game to Armor Games? Would AG accept that, or is the 'basic rule' still implied then: the original artist has to upload the game for proper credits and the possibility of providing feedback to him/her? =S
