So pissed about Avatar's losses!!
The only awards that movie should have won were Visual effects and maybe art direction (which they did win). They definetly stole Cinematography from Basterds. Basterds also should have won for directing and screenplay.
I was suprised that Avatar was even put up for best picture. I mean, it was a great movie and all but it did not have the best acting I have ever seen.
I could not believe that Avatar lost Best director. James Cameron was amazing. And it lost so many of the other categories! I couldn't believe that! They put over $300,000,000 into the movie, the most ever, IT SHOULD HAVE WON SOMETHING ELSE!

I think the box-office smash that it was (most successful ever), would be more than enough to compensate for that INSANE production cost, plus it DID win Best Picture at the Golden Globes.
