This is for you to vent about how your favorite actor/actress did not get an Oscar. Or for you to compliment performances.

The only awards that movie should have won were Visual effects and maybe art direction (which they did win). They definetly stole Cinematography from Basterds. Basterds also should have won for directing and screenplay.

I think The Hurt Locker was bound to win the most awards anyway. Avatar lost out bad.

Best Supporting Actor: Christoph Waltz (Inglourious Basterds)

I called that one, Christoph was stellar in that movie! I was pulling for Inglourious Basterds to win Best Picture though, but ah well!

Best Actor: Jeff Bridges, Crazy Heart

Christ I'm so happy about this one! It's about time that Mr. Bridges got his due from the Academy! He is, after all, to me, the greatest actor EVER!

I was suprised that Avatar was even put up for best picture. I mean, it was a great movie and all but it did not have the best acting I have ever seen.

I could not believe that Avatar lost Best director. James Cameron was amazing. And it lost so many of the other categories! I couldn't believe that! They put over $300,000,000 into the movie, the most ever, IT SHOULD HAVE WON SOMETHING ELSE!

I think the box-office smash that it was (most successful ever), would be more than enough to compensate for that INSANE production cost, plus it DID win Best Picture at the Golden Globes.

I'm glad Avatar didn't win best picture. Shows there is a shred of sanity left in the film industry.

Kathryn Bigelow's award for best director is a long time coming for females as well good job.
