One who posts a deliberately provocative message to a newsgroup or message board with the intention of causing maximum disruption and argument

trolls are very annoying people on the computer...people yell at them some trolls get kick off the site and stuff

I haven't seen that many. Mods are good at sniffing them out before you notice them.

Or better: a person who flames in order to get another person or group to flame back; in other words, "Feeding the Troll".

Their main purpose is to get THEM banned besides him; in other words, "Allowing the Troll to Win".
