What is evolution for you? (please no copying out of dictionaries or investigating before you post)
I will not argue against them because what you think is what you think.

Evolution, is a big pile of dung.

1.Nothing in the real world can be proved with absolute certainty.

This is my point.
However, high degrees of certainty can be reached.

They can, but 100% certainty cannot.
I don't agree with the theory of evolution.
â¢The constraints of evolutionary history sometimes lead to suboptimal structures and functions. For example, the human throat and respiratory system make it impossible to breathe and swallow at the same time and make us susceptible to choking.

I like this point from your reference.

Keep in mind when they say "Nothing in the real world can be proved with absolute certainty." This would include God.

So you'll accept something with a low degree of certainty but not something with a high degree of certainty?

The existence of God can't be proven with absolute certainty, but if you believe in a God, then it's real to you. The same is with you, you believe in evolution, and it's true to you.
So you'll accept something with a low degree of certainty but not something with a high degree of certainty?

The certainty of evolution is 47%, that's below the majority and it can barely be proven, so no I don't believe in it.

I can believe a blue pen is red but that doesn't really make it red. You can believe God is real but that doesn't make God real. This is why having objective evidence is important for determining what is real or not. If there is no evidence then we have to assume it's likely not real. If there is strong evidence we can say it's likely real.

Kindly reveal where you got this figure of 40%. What aspects of evolution do you disagree with? Please don't tell me you're one of those ''fish can't turn into birds'' people. It's blunt ignorance like that which makes me want to go live on Mars.

Also to add to this it doesn't matter what anyone believes, what matters is what the evidence points to when looked at objectively.

Lol, this made me smile. I was banned for one of the discussions that I had with a player over our evolution/non-evolution chat in the other locked forum. Moe, you have yet to give me a reliable source of your proof.
I'm sorry for that mistake, by definition evolution is a theory, I don't agree with it, and I won't ever agree with it. I'm open in most cases to about everything, but not that all creatures evolved.

Okay, do you accept natural selection as proven fact? At least? Because that's been proven - survival of the fittest, those best suited to the environment will survive to pass on those traits, and eventually the entire species will possess them due to natural selection, etc.

You're giving him too much credit. Both micro and macro evolution have been proven. Macro speciation has been observed in bacteria in lab conditions, and frozen, and so every single step of the process can be observed. If he wasn't so set in his ways, he'd take the effort to look it up for himself.

as pointed out in the first page there is no "right for you" answer. We can have the definition we think is correct but really there is only one right answer.

Anyway with that said, for those of you just saying you don't believe I would still like to hear what you think the definition is.

Oh, I know, see I was planning to pull the reductionist/holistic card on him, thanks for the debate c**kblock there, lol.

All threads are discussions. If you didn't want a discussion, why make a thread?

only what do you think it is from your own point of view

This is not a matter of opinion. Evolution is one thing with one definition that is not opinion-based - any 'oint-of-view' other than the informed one me, Mage and firefly possess is expressly incorrect because it is ignoring what evolution is and is therefore irrelevant.

If you want to know what they know, why ask what their opinion? You asked for opinion on a matter of which there is no opinion - if you wanted to know what people know, you should've asked~

I just realized you haven't answered your own question. What do you think the definition is?
