For those that don't know, banners are these pictures or backgrounds that, when pressed, holds a link to send the clicker to the website given. Does ArmorGames have these banners to give out? If not, will it support any being made? This is a great way (for those that linger on other websites) to have people click on the banner to send them to one of the greatest flash gaming websites ever conceived! It can start some serious chain reactions not able to be foretold...

Yea... the problem was that everyone would just refer themselves and make fake accounts. Which is obviously taking advantage of the system, and not allowed. So we removed the feature.
I think it was more of a useful tool when the site was re-released, to try and get word out about the site. But at this point, I don't think a referral system would be quite as useful.

ploquie deserves those 10 points. Otherwise, we'd be short one moderator. >:O Incidentally, it was removed around the time I joined, which is why I think it's weird for there to be referral links. Actually, I'm not sure why there was ever a need for a referral system when the games were that awesome. Way not to believe in your own games. >:O
Yeah...considering the AG games do the advertising for us. The only way I'd ever see banners being useful is to include them in signatures in other forums and MMOs that show what awesome games we make.
But it'd be nice to make more, advertising the new and more popular games that we have. If you want ideas Carlie, I can provide some ;3

Now we have Sonny II, Warefare, Balloon in a Wasteland... much more popular games out right now

True, you get users from people clicking the links in games on other sites. More users come through there, without having to rely on people to spread the word (And less abusing).
Perhaps if I have some extra time soon I might think of adding some more. But there are plenty to choose from right now.

No, I don't think it came out in 2009... ANd they have a pic of SHIFT 1 it seems, so the links really are old.
That's not exactly true, some 3.500 people joined AG since a little more than three weeks time, so that's not hardly anyone...

Guess all we need is some creative minds wanting to use their pencils to provide AG with some cool banners for AG to use in propaganding the website and attrack more people... anyone interested in the job? =)
