Some people have a LOT of time on their hands, I have to say. Imagine all the times that it crumbled when they were almost at the 4000 mark...GOD that must have been frustrating. I can barely manage 10!

True, but I think some people just go out and do it. I know I could never do something like that, it does not really appeal to me, but some people are bent on breaking a world record.
Remember that this guy was doing this stuff at a wee age. Sooo that makes me come to the conclusion that he actually did like this stuff, although he may have a large amount of time on his hands(who ever said this was a bad thing, some people sound as they do), he did break a world record. So toast to...that guy(forgot his name)!
Obscenely big 218,792 cards, is a big figure. I wonder how much time did he waste building that up from scratch but you have to hand it to that guy, that's one fine piece of work. Although, I wonder whats happens if I pull out a card? ;P
I could never do this, I don't have enough time or patients. The most I have ever gotten is like 5. When it fell down, I was mad so I have never tried it again.
