Donuts; glazed, soft, chewy, sweet, awesome. That's how a lot of people view the donut. Once you take that first bite, it's soooo good. But when you get to your second donut it becomes disgusting. Why do you think this is?

After a few donuts...

Have doughnuts ever really looked good?
It's just a circular piece of bread topped off with calories and diabetes.

doughnuts are the ultimate junk-food.

And delicious to enjoy in moderation! Definitely not a food I would suggest that someone eat every day... but it does make a lovely weekend treat =)

YUUUUM! And what sweets couldn't be described in similar ways? I looooove pastries, and I love to bake! Nothing wrong with some delicious sweets every so often. Overindulgence is a no-no... but the occasional treat? Why, how delightful!

When they're hot out of the fryer, they're among the most delicious things in the world.

And the only kind of filled donuts I'll eat are lemon-cream filled donuts. They are succulent.

i see what you mean. i have had a fresh donut and a stale donut and there is a big difference. The cold stale donuts are like the hobo drug dealers of the tasty treat world

Would you rather they were square? I'm sure they make square doughnuts somewhere in the world.

Definitely not a food I would suggest that someone eat every day..

Unless you have a very fast metabolism, like I do. Then you can enjoy it whenever you want!

If you put them in the microwave, they may still be stale, but they're no longer cold. Since you can't solve both problems, why not solve one?

Which is why you should stay active if you eat such things =) I mostly workout so that I can eat more, not necessarily to keep in shape. If eating a donut means running a mile, then I'll do it!
