Despite being a Sci-Fi fan i prefer LOTR. Think StarWars is too kiddy.

LOTR is stunning star wars is ok but just no where near as good.

None ... Don't like both ... I am not into Sci Fi anymore as I was 2 years ago.

I prefer the Lord of the Rings, cause I like the books a lot. But I quite like also star wars.

LOTR books bore me. Star Wars movies never get old. Epic win for Star Wars.

Star Wars, hands down. It's way more famous.

Both where instant classics. And I like both of them. They both have classic heros and villans and funny parts and EPIC fight seans. So Im not really shure.

I love both, but would likely much rather be inside LOTR, it's simply more beautifully created and I feel I would fit in better.

If You want to know a lot about the LOTR then read all the books. Even the ones about the history.
