I would much rather watch battles in space with aliens and robots than watch Elijah Wood go on some quest.
Haha, that has some truth to it. Anyways, this thread caught my eye because the people in my class had a huge, like, 2-day argument over this. I say Star Wars because the only time I tried to watch LOTR, I practically fell asleep. No offense. My dad is a pretty big LOTR fan. However, the new SW CGI cartoon sucks balls. serious balls. All that crap is a complete sellout. BTW I still have the original SW trilogy on videotape
LOTR is based on a unique fantasy world, it has epic battles, monsters, awesome weapons and armors, and unbeatably beautiful landscapes and scenes. There are lots of different characters with own backgrounds, and very good music. I like star wars very much, but LOTR is perfect (except for frodo's ever-sad blue-eyed puppy face)
