the rules are easy. i will ask a question about ANYTHING pokemon. i'll start off easy, with bonus questions which will be a little harder, and go up very slightly in difficulty each time. absolutely NO cheating. this is ALL pokemon trivia. that includes the series, any games, and any movies. now i am not an "obsessive" rank fan, so some questions i won't ask...but i tune in every saturday at 6:00 AM central to catch the new episode... sometimes i miss it, though...anyway, first post containing the right answer gets the point. kind of pokemon ping-pong style, first to get 5 points wins a match, and first person to win 3 matches wins a game. once every page(excluding the first page), i will put a list of each player and how many points, matches and games they have won, a "lace" note and general acheivements in this format:
New player(s)! name(s): player 4 player 1: 2 point(s), 1 match(s), 0 game(s)3rd player 2: 4 point(s), 2 match(s), 0 game(s)2nd player 3: 3 point(s), 1 match(s), 1 game(s)1st player 4: 0 point(s), 0 match(s), 0 game(s)4th most games ever (pretty self-explanatory): player 3 best pokemon fan(the person in first place): player 3 worst pokemon fan(the person in last place): player 4 most bonuses (the most bonus questions) player 2 most un-officials(questions not asked by me): player 1
as you can obviously notice, after a match is won points are set to 0, as demonstrated by player's 1 and 2, and after a game is won both matches and points are set to 0, as demonstrated by player 3. if a player does not post here for 3 days, i will remove them from the next scoreboard, excluding the "most games" achievement. the new player notice will be removed on the next scoreboard. the "worst pokemon fan" achievement does not apply to "new" players. people are free to ask other trivia questions separate from my question, but answering it will not yield any points. however answering the most of these will give you an achievement. last thing: if you have any questions about the game, DON'T post it here. post a comment on my profile and ask away! only 5 questions per comment, as i'm sure i covered a lot in this one post. i will respond by same way; posting a comment on your profile. i will ignore comments with: more than 5 questions, asking the answer to a question, and asking if they can post a question. asking that, or asking more than 5 questions, would mean you DIDN'T read the entire first post, so remember to read the first post on every thread before posting. I'll start
how many pokemon are there originally?
BONUS: what is the final pokemon? (hint: team rocket tried to steal it once while it was in egg form)
Yeah but if you search for this info well you will find it. Many people don't get it because it is old but it exists (the info). Also, if i remember well, because now i play pearl version, missingno was in the pokedex! Like a standard pokemon. And your game is sure to be zeroed if you catch it to any other game of pokemon. Those two are crucial facts! Obscuredemon, Firered and leafgreen are just the remakes of blue and red so they are in Kanto. Colosseum has many other pokemon so i don't think it is. As for the side series, i don't know

Link to "info" plx.

1. Just call me Obscure. 2. I don't think you understand the term "Generation". It's a term used to describe a set of games released on contemporary consoles. For example, Generation II of Pokemon was released on the Game Boy Colour and the N64, and Generation III was released on their successors, the Gamecube and the GBA. 3. Therefore, FireRed, LeafGreen, Gale of Shadows, and Colusseum, are all considered Generation III.

Seconding the asking for sources, please. Or I'm just gonna assume you think you know something and leave it at that.
Hey, I traded in my GBA for a DS, so I haven't played Crystal in about six years! And Aipom wasn't exactly the mmost used pokemon...
Yeah! Actually, i found some things that prove both of us not to be right! I am sorry i searched about it but as it seems, i did a mistake. Here is the link. Missingno seems to have been programmed by nintendo to be debugging games so it is not actuall a glitch. Although because of the primitive graphics in the B/R version it can make a bad contact (although most of the times it doesn't) and be a glitch. As for the Gens i thought that they were, regarding the regions like: Kanto 1 gen, Johto 2 gen, Hoenn 3 gen, Sinnoh 4 gen! Are you sure obscure?
I remembered that a guy with firered caught somehow a ghost from lavender which never ever had anything strange on its name and the game pak has never showed a problem . The only strange was that the ghost had only one attack with ??? pp and it was named ???. I don't know if this is true because i never had the chance to check it but it must have been a missingno if you have read the info! It says about the missingno looking like a ghost from Lavender. Anyway it doesn't have to be a glitch. And if you love your game pak and its data and you cannot risk erasing it, then download the game on your pc and play it there, trying to capture missingno! It may be the strongest ever!

Abso-lutely. The Generation refers to the consoles they were released on.

The link you provided is useful, but you seem to have read it quickly then fabricating a story loosley based on it. For example, nowhere in the page does it specify that MissingNo. can be caught in FireRed.
To end the debate over Missingno.
MissingNo. is a debug Pokemon. However, it is NOt counted in the official 151. In fact, the fossils and amber are more like real pokemon than Missingno. But they aren't counted in the Pokedex, so MissingNo. shouldn't be either.
