If you have a good gaming setup I would suggest The Witcher. But it's rated M. And it isn't free. you have to buy it. I did, and I really like it.

I play Guild Wars. It's free to play, but you need to buy the game. Other than that my friend plays voyage century online, which is a game where you sail ships and fight pirates, and stuff like that.
