NY Times - Nintendo to Make 3D Version of Its DS Handheld Game

I just wonder how this will exactly work with a handheld device. Looks like we'll have to wait for it to be unveiled at E3 in June.

It's all a matter of waiting. Since this was announced a while ago, we don't know much yet.

I dunno man, it might be a little TOO advanced. But you never know, it might be totally EPIC! 3D stuff makes me dizzy sometimes though, I hope this doesn't.

I can almost guarantee you that if this works without glasses, you're going to need some real soon from looking at that.

Sounds like something I'd get near-sightedness from in a ridiculously minimal interval of time. Our society definitely does not need more ways to give children a headache.

If they really are going to release this, they should wait until the next generation of consoles and hand-helds to further enhance the quality of the 3-DS. It makes sense to me, at least.

it comes out on april 1st. so when people are at the fair anticipating to see it, all of a sudden some japanese guy will come out from behind the curtain and yell "aprir foors!"

They might do that with Pokemon. But Pokemon is already at its best. I wonder if they will ever create anything better than HeartGold and SoulSilver. Who knows.

What is 4-D anyways?

But did you guys see the concept of that game with the 3-DS? That's going to be brutally hard for me I'm not good at finding things in a different perspective :/

Mathematics and drugs aside, 4D is a term used in describing 3D movies with added effects such as water spray, shaking chairs etc. in order to enhance the viewing experience.

Because of the cost and the fact that it is not practical, 4D films are only shown in special venues, such as theme parks.
