Welcome to the new Draw that Pokemon!

The old thread was getting quite long, and burdened by Estel decided to make it MS Paint only. We eventually made it all art programs, however it then made the title verrrryyy lonnngggg.

So, this is the brand new fresh clean wiped clear thread, with some ubertastic new rules (basically same as last time)!

Rules:

The pictures must be somehow related to the theme, which is a Pokemon, and must conist mainly of that one. Other pokemon can be included, however it will be the theme pokemon that will be judged.

The pictures must be appropriate, so no Pokefurryness or I herd yu liek mudkipz graphic references.

The prize at the end of each round will be to pick the theme of the next round. There will be no merit prize unless otherwise stated.

Any art program may be used.

Lineart is accepted, as long as it is clearly different to the original drawing. It may be helpful to link to the reference image. However, on this note, entries that are more original and different to the common poses may be likely to do better at judging. BE ORIGINAL!

Please do not copy the drawings of anyone else, as this is plaugerism and is ILLEGAL! If you do so you will be immediately disqualified and futher action may be taken by the Mods. However, if you believe that a picture is copied, please do not make a fuss of it in the thread - instead post a comment on either my profile, Cenere's or Zophia's (as they are the two moderators who frequent this contest most).

Please do not bug the judge about when the judging will be, as this is extremely annoying - and it will turn up eventually, but you must remember that judges do have lives...

If the winner of the previous contest does not post a new theme within FOUR days, then a new one will be chosen by the judge.

I think most would agree that that is a tad more offensive than what I said. Also, I think that even the creator knows that the drawing wasn't that good. And actually, it did make me feel good. So when you no, it doesn't, you were wrong. You really should know a person before you go off giving their answers to questions YOU asked. You know nothing about me. It made me feel good that you acknowledge that, unlike you, I, as you so wisely put it, f*ck.

You need to learn grammar. You also need to learn how to make sense. You also need to know that that saying "No offense, your drawing sucks," is pretty much like taking a shit in someone's face, and the saying just kidding.

Whatever do you mean? My grammar was fantastic. The only mistake was that I said "So when you no, it doesn't" and that was simply because I forgot to put 'said no'. Also, your last sentence does not make any sense whatsoever. Practice what you preach. And by the way, you put "No offense, your drawing sucks," in quotations, even though no-one said it. So who needs to learn grammar now?

According to all the grammatical errors in that post, you do. Also, grammar is much different from MLA.

This is quite a nice entry, very obvious it is done in Paint though! And non-Windows 7 paint for that matter

I feel that I would be pwn'd (ZOMG SEE THAT PERFECT GRAMMAR.... Wait, how do you spell grammar... Nope, got it~ (ZOMG TILDE IS PERFECT GRAMMAR)) if I enter this disscussion. Every time someone makes a mistake it's going to be pounced apon. I shall no longer use the term 'Grammar Nazi'. Why? Because I can't compete with you frickin' (ooh see that?) 'Grammar Hitlers'... Hahaha, I totally shoulda (!!!?) put something better than Hitler.

By the way, do we have a deadline yet?

Two questions:
Firstly, is there a merit awarded to the round winner?
Secondly, if so, when will the judging occur?... Not that I'm impatient I'm just eager to draw a new pokemon, they are so much fun to draw ^^.

Question 1: No, there is no merit awarded - the user just gets to pick the next themes round thing...or round theme or something...

In actual fact. I set the judging to be done today. Or maybe not. But you know...there were lots of entries and it was hard to pick the winners...

Champions Exhibit - Zega

Quite a good entry Zega, however you seem to have missed the whole 'Cu' bit of Cubone. The skull looks fer good, especially the shading.

First Place - Cenere

Once again, a suberb entry from the Cenmeister! The cubone looks quite sad though, but his mother is obviously dead so why wouldn't he be.

I like the effects that you have done on the skull, it looks very effective with the sctratch marks.

Second Place - Kacboy

I like this entry because of its ingenuity...I mean...who would have thought of a Cubone playing the drums? It is quite clever. There are few shading erros where you have accidentally gone over lines, but overall it is quite good.

It is good how you have used the same skull four times! Saves having to do it more than once. I imagine we'll see a pokemon band soon?

Third Place - Hectichermit

Another good entry. THis one is a lot more roughly drawn that the others - more realistic and less like the cartoon. I like the tail skull, would make for a good weapon, and add damage to tail whip...

I do also like the background!

Are looking good and numerous...verrry numerous...which is why this took so long....

The Yarr Award - GuitarHeroFTW

Because of course, pirates are awesome. I quite like the idea of this! The eye is slighlt yout of place though.

Nice choice of colours.

The BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Award - Graham

Very original of course...although I am not sure what bits of it are actually Cubone...

Looks nice though, the bwaaarrrghh needs a bit more colour I think...

And, it made me laugh!

The Hunter Award - FallenSky

Kingryan studied the image and cocked his head to the side as he tried to think of waht to write. He was puzzled at what he should say.

Pulling out a quill and paper, Kingryan started to write - detailing at how well the pencil art was done and how the use of shading makes it...he paused as he tried to remember the word that most young people used these days...'awesome.'

He then fell asleep.

The Lazymans Award - LiveInPeace29

A clever entry, however the colours really attack my eyes. The yellow is waay to bright.

The Stumpy Award - Ulimited Power

Yea...he has no hands/claws. And the bone comes out of his stumpy wrist. Poor little fella.

He also looks evil. Nice pencil work though!

The Failed Pokeball Award - Beastahayes

Quite an interesting entry, you obviously hae some talent there. This guy aslo has a bone coming out his wrist...

If you have a scanner it would make the image look a lot better, because camera quality can be baddd...

The 'Lets Kill Sudowoodo Award - Jpade95

Poor Sudowoodo...sitting there looking like a Cactus...has no idea what is about to happen. When he will be clubbed brutally with a bone.

A good entry, could use a bit more effort I believe...

The Rawr Reminder Award - Rick073

Running out of time here...so just a short comment...

An very controversial entry I must admit...judging by the comments. That weren't very nice...

Keep trying with your entries...they can be made better if you spend a litte more time on them.

Gosh! And I was thinking I had my place in the top 3 for sure...Hmmmm, what didn't do it? Lack of colors, of background?
Anyways, Kudos to the winners, I must admit that Cenere entry was quite well done. Good job to all the others, rankers or not.
