I'm a christian and i hear atheist say to me that the world would be better without religion. I disagree BUT this is not about that. I would like to know how atheist can live their lives everyday knowing as soon as they die they will stop thinking forever and turn into dirt? If i was atheist i would see no motive to move on in life and i would prob. just kill myself or go do whatever i felt like to anyone, knowing there are no other consequences other than death itself. So what is an Atheist motivation to stay alive?
This is mainly for atheist answering my question, please no religion flaming, thank you.
Believe in science? Is there somone who does not believe in science? As Gaga said most support science, but not believing in science means you have some seriose wool pulled over your eyes...
This is a bit like asking do you believe in math. It's really not a matter of belief more like a tool to use. So a better way of putting it would be do all atheists use the scientific method? While I would wager most do I wouldn't say all do.
and science tries to explain the most impossible things, big bang theory my ***, Yahweh all the way baby! (lol) Sorry but that was really immature, but it is true that science cannot explain everything.
Not currently, but that does not mean "We don't know. Lets just say god did it and move on", it means we shoult attempt to find out. People once thought that if they did not sacrafice a person every day then the sun whould not come back up. Of course they were wrong, but if they never found that out there would still be Aztec sacrafices every day...

We once thought it was not possible to break the sound barrier, we thought it impossible to travel to the moon. Just because something may seem impossible now doesn't mean it is, and it definitely doesn't mean we should just not try and insert unsupported assumptions as a placebo answer to things we currently don't know.
