The point of this thread is both for fun and for an actually intelligent debate.
Basically the point is to rebuttal a quote with another quote; NO original points can be used but agreement and what not doesn't need to be quoted from somewhere.
Make sure you give the author of the quote credit and, if possible, link to any anonymous quotes you find to prove their actual quotes.
Anyway I'll start it off.
A young man who wishes to remain a sound atheist cannot be too careful of his reading.
^ One thing about THAT Christians should be banned from the Old Testament which is the Jewish torah, and christians continuously bash Judaics even though we're practically the same religion! (except OF course the whole Jesus thing, but we did name him a prophet, and have some of his quotes in the Talmud.)
Not a quote, I'd love it if you made a thread on Judaism though.
âIf the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you: âA servant is not greater than his master.â If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will also keep yours.
