RAP, I hare rap. It can't even be considered music. All it is a a guy saying words, and a sound mixer adding some sound filters to her/his voice. And in the movies all they are are whores of 'actors' that they use to get your attention.
Country. The one genre of music i will not listen to, period. For the longest time i hated rap but i have found some good stuff recently. But country has nothing...there are no subgenres and no originality. It all sounds the same and it all blows. Country is an acoustic guitar banging in the forefront with an easy drum beat and annoing ass lyrics about relationships generally with a twang. And it doesn't move outside of these parameters, ever. Rock probably has literally a thousand subgenres with thousands of different sounds, and rap can actually have a couple different sounds and mixes. Country has no redeming qualities at all...
country is probably the only genre of music that gets on my nerves. It is too slow and the instrumental skill of the songs are not great,look at led zeplin,the beatles etc and can you picture them doing a full album of country? I thought not.
