I don't know; just rummage around in Firewall, Parental controls....

could try getting k9 web protection and see if you can block specific sites.

I could could try but I can't download anything. My dad has parental controls let to a maximum high. Of course this is my brothers account(I still can't download). But on My actual account, if I search say, Lynyrd Skynyrd - Free Bird on google (I've done it before)It gets blocked.

You should explain this to your dad. You can get anything done with maximum parental controls. Nothing done at all.

See Knight, these are the kind of ads that seem to show you that are virus infected, but ironically are viruses themselves. These ads claim to say and do so much good, but ultimately harm you in their favor.

Agreed Feakenstein.

samdawghomie I feel sorry for you parental controls are the dumbest things ever created and I'm glad I didn't have to go through them makes learning about computer in general easier.

I'm (still) without children, but maybe my older age makes me understand some of the reasoning fathers might have to put such things in effect... try to imagine what goes on in your mind at the age of 13... then try to imagine what it must be like when you have kids of your own and of that age, that are trying to find/do/explore what you're thinking at that age... might scare you a little!

this happened to me a few times on my dads computer. it said it was scanning for viruses, 94 trojans were found. i kept Xing out of it. i couldnt close it via the bottom toolbar or ctrl alt delete and my actual computer protection thing popped up saying an attack on your computer was blocked

Have you tried to import the adress of that website into your adblocker?
Some adblocking programms have a tool for entering specific adresses you want to have blocked... :S

Either that, or upgrade your specifications on how much you want to have blocked overall...

I'm enjoying watching you try to be smart by telling knight what he already knows.

Buhahaha... Sorry, had to let it out.

Sam hasn't replied in a day, therefore I find anything we say next is pretty useless to him if we write pages of words (Like he'll read it all).

I find that insulting. I'm doing an essay on music age ratings and you'd be surprised how useful they are (Granted, I don't see much of them but...). The features are there to protect little kiddies from harm, and senseless, curious adolescents...

THEN you can do whatever you please.

The problem with editing your own permissions in cmd is that you need to be an administrator first.

Both admin accounts are unprotected on my computer~

But my brother found the coolest thing, you can change passwords without knowing the original password. Or maybe it's removing the pass.

I'm enjoying that too.

Your dad will probably get pissed if he finds out you tampered with the settings. But it is likely he won't. Now we can't suggest that he tampers with the settings, unless we've heard what he has to say first.
