Now go change to a different browser. Seriously, IE is the worst browser. It's still the slowest and the most vulnerable, security-wise. What form of IE are you using?
Google Chrome. I like it because it is much faster and you get more webpage and less toolbar. I also like the downloadable apps (particularly Google dictionary).
I occasionally find myself inclined to use the IE (albeit it is IE6).
If you are dealing with compatibility issues, use a later version of IE or use a Trident based browser. Internet Explorer uses the Trident layout engine. Other Trident browsers such as Avant, Maxthon and SlimBrowser may be more compatible with some IE stuff. I dunno, just try one out. Out of the three I prefer Maxthon.
Firefox is still my favorite browser of all time.

Note, that you can remove the toolbars in Firefox too. Chrome doesn't give you the option of having some extra toolbars, as far as I know. Correct me if I am wrong.
Opera because it is pure win.
Awesome, someone finally said that.
I'll tally up the preferences if someone hasn't done so and if I have the time.

A dozen megabyte download won't hurt. If you don't feel comfortable moving over to a Gecko browser, try another Trident one. The aforementioned are the names of the layouts used by Firefox and IE respectively. Other Trident browsers include Maxthon and Avant. Or you could just switch to Firefox, Chrome or Opera.
ok spam comin up but i dont know wat opera is, i live in oz, so maybe its not out here? BUMP heh, i bumped my own topic btw, knight do u use opera? if so could u post sum screen shots k gots to go to bed its like 10:30 right now
Opera is a web browser and internet suite developed by Opera Software, a Norwegian company. It's very good actually, and has been an innovative browser. Too bad few people use it. I'd say it's better than Safari.
