how come u can only be 89 years old max on AG? What if a 90 year old guy would join? Wouldn't he feel rejected and denied, and maybe offended? Old people are in bad conditions and can maybe not live through this....offensive thing!

Most of you guys will say something like this:

"You stupid troll! Everyone knows that no one will go on AG if they are actually more then 90 years old!"

thats a stereotype, old mans can die from this too :O

Anyways, AG, what do u think? Should there be a 90 year old age thing?

Why, when anyone who is anything over 90 probably can't use a computer. And even if we did, there really would be no point.

Why is some of the sections posted in "40 years ago"? I believe it is just part of the programming, and considering the target group of the average user of AG is 13-16, I don't think they really considered if 90 year old people decided to be part of the site, and want their age exposed on their profile, considering how few would even believe it.

For some reason there's also this glitch that turns people's age to 89...or is it not a glitch?

Because I've seen plenty of 0 AP accounts with 89 years old on them...

I think they should just make the limit like 100 or something, that would be better.

Or no limit! Afterall, there are people in the world older than 100, though rare Really though, glitches are commonplace here, 89 years old and 40 year old threads being a couple of them. Hopefully these silly glitches will be over and done soon later or in 3.0.

This is somewhat silly. no one cares about age anyway.

Didn't we have a legitimate old guy here on AG back in '09? He posted a lot but isn't active anymore

I see the limit for some sites being 120 years or so.

Not including a selection for 90+ year olds on a site geared towards teenagers and casual gamers isn't offensive. No one who is that old ever comes to sites like these.

Instead of one of those drop down things where you select the day, month and year, I think we should be able to fill in each field ourselves. Would eliminate the need for this thread.

but i dont understand...why 89 and not 90? Round number always better?

I figure there is a cut-off date for selection. So the age doesn't matter, you will always be able to choose dates that are after 1920.

Maybe the Admins decided that some of the content on this site would scare the old people and put them into shock, causing a heart attack. So they decided to not let them join for their wellbeing.

Joking joking, i was just thinking random things.

LONG LIVE THE OLD!

A 90-year-old would most likely not feel comfortable in a forum that considers 28-year-olds to be old. The 90-year-olds would feel like mummies.

How true indeed Ernie.

@snogry

I could think of something here that could probably shock a patient er, senior enough to cause a heart attack.

Maybe because a 'Computer' was beyond any of there dreams 76 years ago. The fiction authors back then probably didn't think those would come until 300 year from then.

*Sniff* I'm so glad that there are people out there who fight for my rights. Even I like to play games on AG.

How could you >:

I don't quite see how would one justify an age limit of 90 or more here. AG is primarily for the age group between 13 - 25. Albeit occasionally, even older people play games to while away time. Nevertheless, I don't see what difference would it make if the age limit was 90 or more. Maybe, since 9/8 = 1.125 which is a definite value while 9/0 = infinity, the age limit is 89 and not 90.

@knight_34 O.o

Seriously, there might be something which is startling here. But that would be the violence and there isn't much of a chance that your typical senior citizen would be affected too much. I also didn't get what that emoticon means, until I searched it up.

Yes. Usually the ones at the office and scenarios similar to that, where you want to play casual games online. Yet, 90 year olds are already retired, and they would have little reason to play flash games. Even if they weren't retired. Well, at least the old people of today don't play flash games.
